Milano-Cortina-2026
Together with a team of data scientists, I have been assigned to
conduct a transportation research in the area of Milano and Cortina d'Ampezzo, where Olympic Games supposed to be held in 2026.
The area of the Games is placed in several regions of Northern Italy, the distances between some Olympic Objects are quite long.
As a result, based on the findings of the analytical group and with a help of teams from Systematica, Alstom and other partners of the project, I created web based application for visualisation of current transport situation and possible future transport developments.
I was focused mostly on the sub-region of Cortina d'Ampezzo and its connection with main transportation lines and hubs of Northern Italy. For example, there is a visualisation of one day for the bus line connection between Cortina d'Ampezzo and Calalzo di Cadore- the closest railway hub to the South of Dolomiti. This line is considered to be powered by hydrogen or electronic cell vehicles.
This is a React based application.
I tried to keep the original design of the official page.
